Anomaly Observation Framework
A downloadable tool
Anomaly Observation Framework is the ultimate starting point for creating "I'm on Observation Duty" style games. It provides all the tools and systems for quickly prototyping your idea and more!
Anomaly observation games are a popular genre premiered by the game "I'm on Observation Duty" and taken further by the likes of "Para Eyes".
In these games, the player assumes the role of a security guard who checks surveillance cameras at a location in order to spot anomalies, differences and oddities around a location. The player wins if they survive until the morning.
The Anomaly Observation Framework is a fully featured template for creating such games. It features beautifully written components that are clean, performant and scalable. It was written from the ground up with modularity and customizability in mind. No assumptions toward structure and art style has been made; all systems and managers can be swapped out as per your project's needs.
The framework also provides solutions for creating game/difficulty settings, robust debugging tools, editor extensions, and useful and hopefully inspiring anomaly, scene and UI examples.
